Our team
Today at Central Roofing Company we stand for quality and service within the Roofing industry. Working with our trusted partners to provide you with the best option, designed to suit your style and budget from Scaffold to finish.
Duncan Corlett
The Boss
Duncan is the boss man here at Central Roofing and he has been since he helped start the business way back in 2008. A few things have changed since then and he now has a lot more people to look after, all while managing the day to day running of the business. He's a family man, now that he's also got little ones to run around after, he does enjoy the odd game of Rugby, though now it’s on the sidelines as a coach. He is a licensed building practitioner, although we have never seen him use any tools.

Lenny Erickson
Storeman & Deliveries
Lenny left us, and now he's back as our amazing storeman, making deliveries, doing measures or just helping our where he's needed. He is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and I have heard God only lets things grow until they are perfect... well Lenny didn’t take as long as others. But don’t let his stature fool you, he was a volunteer firefighter for 25 years, enjoys the odd fishing trip and spending time with his family. He is very reliable and knowledgeable, and has been in the building industry for more than three decades.

Luke Bedford
Contracts Manager New & Commercial
Luke is our Contracts Manager for new and commercial buildings and has a sharp eye for detail, apparently an even sharper eye for what makes a top-tier lunch (we're all a bit jealous, to be honest).
Luke has jut stepped into his most important job role yet, as a new dad. You'll often find him singing along to the radio like no one's listening and his favourite colour is pioneer red.

Phill Marfell
Waterproofing Manager
Phill is our Waterproofing Manager and is an expert working on flat areas using Vikings vast array of products. He is an all-rounder and can also work on pitched roofs. Although Phill is quiet when he speaks, he can go for a 100km pedal on his push bike after work like it’s nothing, and his legs are usually smoother than most of the ladies in the office. You will know that it's Phill on the bike when you see his long dreads flowing in the wind. He is a licensed building practitioner, and he has been in the industry for 20 years. We have been lucky to have him at Central Roofing for the last 9 years.

Rameez Kerry
Contracts Manager Re-roofs & Spouting
Rameez gave up the tools for a "cushy" office job. After years of tiling for us as a contractor he brings all of that knowledge and experience into re-roof project management. He has a lovely wife, two beautiful daughters and now has Vicki and Jess nagging at him all day, every day! A lucky man surrounded by wāhine. Rameez is the biggest Warriors fan we know, but maybe don't bring that up till next year.

Tony Mazey
Scaffold Manager
Tony has swapped the scaffold truck for managing our scaffolding crew, and he’s a happy man now that he can wear his Crocs to work on his office days.
Tony may be soft-spoken, but you’ll definitely know when he’s around thanks to his loud and slightly irritating phone ringtones! He’s a great team player with a cheeky sense of humour and is always happy to share his knowledge and experience with the team.
While we’re not allowed to have favourites, Tony certainly knows the way to the office girls’ hearts — turning up with coffees is always a winning move

Jess Simeon
H&S Advisor & Administration
Jess is our Health & Safety Coordinator at Central Roofing. With a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management, she takes a practical approach to keeping our crews safe and happy out on site. She loves winding up the office team and has earned her title as our personality hire. The office has been quiet without her while she was on maternity leave. The boys will be stoked to have her back as they can can usually con her into dropping off ice blocks to site on hot days.

Vicki Houkamau
Contracts Administrator
Vicki is the newest member of the team and slotted in so easily we're not entirely convinced she's new!
Shes a mum, big fan of music and concerts, loves getting out into nature for a hike. Vicki brings great banter to the team and a bit of healthy bossiness to keep Rameez on his toes!!
Safe to say she's made herself right at home and we are stoked to have her on board.

Fleur Corlett
Operations Lead
Fleur joined us to help keep things running behind the scenes and that's no small feat! After 11 years in Health and Safety, she has taken on all things operations.
Being the boss's wife means she technically can't quit.... but we like to think she sticks around for the great company too.

Jason Fraser
Fabrication Manager
Jason has been with us for over a year now, running the show at Central Fabrication, where he gets to build all sorts of cool things beyond just roofing. With over 20 years of experience, Jase knows his stuff — although you wouldn’t guess it, He doesn’t look a day over 21. When he’s not busy making things happen in the workshop, you’ll find him out enjoying his motorbikes or spending time with his family. We’re stoked to have Jase’s skills and experience on the team!
